Call of Duty: Black Ops II Weapons – Multiplayer and Zombies

This page lists the core weapons used in Call of Duty: Black Ops II for both Multiplayer (MP) and Zombies (ZM). It is organized by weapon class, with notes on which guns appear in Zombies, and which ones are unique Wonder Weapons.

Multiplayer Weapons

Black Ops II multiplayer uses the classic Treyarch categories: assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, sniper rifles, shotguns, pistols, launchers, and specials. Many of these guns also appear in Zombies in some form (wall buys or Mystery Box), while a few remain MP only.

  • SCAR-H – Heavy hitting rifle with strong recoil kick but fast kills if you stay on target.
  • SMR – High damage, lower rate of fire semi auto rifle that rewards patient aim.
  • M8A1 – Four round burst rifle, extremely strong when you land a full burst. Also appears in Zombies on some maps.

Shotguns (MP)

  • R-870 MCS – Pump action shotgun with strong one hit kill potential up close.
  • S12 – Semi auto shotgun with multiple follow up shots available.
